Some people like ribs dry but I like mine covered in sauce because well, I’m saucy. Sauce with everything that’s what I say. They make such a nice change from bbq or sweet and sour. It’s so easy to make your own, give them a go.
If you’re saucy you’ll love these!
Serves 2
Ingredients
500g pork ribs
2 cloves garlic – minced
Hoisin sauce – 150g ( I buy one from Waitrose as it’s so good)
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon chinese five spice
To serve
3 spring onions – chopped
Method
Preheat oven to 200C / 180C fan
In a large mixing bowl mix together the minced garlic, soy, honey, white wine vinegar and chinese five spice.
Dip your ribs in and make sure they’re fully covered.
Once fully coated put on a deep baking tray and pour over the hoisin sauce.
Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes. Meanwhile, chop up your spring onions.
Remove from oven and sprinkle over the spring onion.
